Title: A Happier Year (Near About)
by: Kimbeen
2015– (Work in Progress)

Summary: ‘This isn't my story, it's ours... Here I admit defeat – the sweetest, most winning defeat there can be, hardly one at all. I live life now with my woes in miniature. So it's no great trial to remember how this wonderment came about: I'd remember it carefully daily if I wasn't so busy still living it.’

Post-canon multi-chapter sequel to the Caught ’Twixt Love and Nausea three-part series. Maurice and Alec’s first days, nights, weeks and months together – passion, misunderstandings and challenges – told in detail from Maurice’s perspective and in his voice, beginning with their early-morning departure from Penge/Pendersleigh, first to London...

Rating varies by chapter.
